Questions about reserving

Yes. Reserving a seat costs nothing, and there's no ticket price. After the show, we ask what the night was worth to you, and you give that amount, or nothing. Nobody at the door will know or ask.

It costs us about $45 to put one person in a seat, so that's the amount we suggest if you enjoyed it and can afford it. Some people give more, some less, some nothing.

After the show you can give at the theatre, or online any time at anthologyproductions.org/donate. You can also add a gift when you reserve, if you'd rather not think about it on the night. Gifts are tax-deductible: Anthology Productions Portland is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 39-3721775.

The theatre is small and every seat is wanted. The card is how we make sure reserved seats get used. We only charge it in one case: a seat is still reserved 48 hours before the show, and nobody is sitting in it when the show starts. Then that seat is charged $45. If you come, or you release the seat in time, you're never charged.

Only when both of these are true for a seat: it was still on your reservation 48 hours before the show, and nobody used it (the ticket was never scanned at the door). That seat is charged $45, after the show. Each seat counts separately, so if you reserved four and three people came, one seat is charged.

Nothing is ever charged when you reserve.

Yes. Your card details go straight to Stripe, one of the world's largest payment processors, used by millions of businesses. Anthology never sees or stores your card number; we only see the brand and last four digits.

Some banks show a temporary $0 or $1 “authorization” when a card is saved. That isn't a charge, and it disappears on its own.

Open your confirmation email and press Manage reservation. Pick the seats you won't use and release them. No login needed, and it costs nothing, up until 48 hours before the show starts. Released seats go straight back on sale, and anyone on the waitlist is told.

Pass your tickets on. Forward your ticket email to a friend, family member or neighbor. Each QR code gets one person in, and a seat someone uses is never charged. It also means the seat doesn't sit empty while someone on the waitlist wanted it.

Join the waitlist on that night's seat map. When seats are released, we email everyone on the list at once, and whoever reserves first gets them.

No. Show the QR codes in your email on your phone, or print the email. Every seat has its own QR code, so everyone in your group can walk in with their own. If you chose will call, just give your name at the door.

As many as your group needs. Please only reserve seats you plan to use.

Doors open 45 minutes before the show starts: 6:45 PM for a 7:30 PM show, 1:15 PM for a 2 PM matinee, and 7:15 PM for opening night (Dec 12, 8 PM). The show is about 65 minutes with no break, so please arrive a little early. It's at World Trade Center Portland, 121 SW Salmon Street, Portland, OR 97204.

Row F can be reached without stairs. It has wheelchair spaces (open floor, no fixed seat) and companion seats beside them for the people you're with and for anyone who can't manage stairs. They're marked in blue on the seat map. We don't ask for any proof. For anything else you need, email info@anthologyproductions.org.
